====== Sour Cream Coffee Cake ====== ===== Ingredients ===== ==== Coffee Cake ==== * Preheat oven to 345 degrees. * 1 1/3 cups of flour * 2 tsp. baking powder. * 1 tsp. baking soda. * 1/2 cup butter. * 1 cup white sugar. * 2 eggs. * 1 tsp. vanilla extract. * 1 cup sour cream. ==== Filling & topping Mix ==== * 1/2 brown sugar lightly packed. * 1 tbs. of cinnamon ===== Directions ===== * Grease a bunt pan using butter. * For the topping mix the cinnamon and brown sugar together. * Dust the pan with the topping mix. * Save the surplus topping mix for the middle. * In a large bowl cream butter and sugar (by hand). * Beat in eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy. * add dry ingredients to creamed mixture alternately with the sour cream (i.e.: dry mixture, sour cream, dry mixture, sour cream, etc, end with dry mixture), mix well after each addition. * Put 1/2 the batter into the pan. * Cover with 1/2 of the remaining topping mix. * Add remaining batter. * Cover the top with the balance of the topping mix. * Bake for 45 minutes. * When done remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes. * Invert onto a plate and let cool.
